  I'm having this issue too. Attempting to sign in with email gives the HTTP failure code error, and attempting to sign in with username gives the 'cannot retrieve some information' failure.

  If you're having this problem - do you have access to multiple github accounts under your login? i.e. I have my main public account (HowlingEverett) but I also have admin in a couple of private organisation accounts. I wonder if the API requirements for getting the feeds of organisation accounts might be causing Feeds to fall over...

  Hi Vince, sorry for the slow response on this issue. We haven't been able to reproduce the problem; however you may be able to add your Github feed manually by adding a "RSS/Atom" account instead, and copying the feed URL from the "News Feed" button on Github.com here:
